Wave of account wins brings new hires at Media Profile

Five new hires are a sign of the times at Media Profile after a series of account wins. Karolina Olechnowicz, Ginger Shewell, Maria Cortellucci, Stephanie Mustachi and Dishni Jayasuriya have all recently joined the Media Profile team.

Dishni Jayasuriya joins Media Profile as a Senior Consultant and will be lending her international media relations skills to the agency’s government business. She spent the past four years managing public relations activities in France, Germany, Japan, India, China, the U.S. and U.K. from her home base in Toronto.

Karolina Olechnowicz is working on the Honda Canada business  as an account coordinator. She joined Media Profile after an internship at Canadian Journalists for Free Expression where she helped organize its annual event, the International Press Freedom Gala.

Ginger Shewell joins Media Profile as an account coordinator working on Abbott, Ancestry.ca and the City of Edmonton account teams. She recently completed a media relations internship at SickKids where she worked on reactive and proactive media relations.

Maria Cortellucci joins Media Profile as an account coordinator on a variety of accounts including Kraft and PayPal. She most recently worked at an online news hub called The Mark News and was an assistant editor at Where Toronto Magazine. She has freelanced for a mix of newspapers and blogs across Toronto, including blogTO.

Stephanie Mustachi is working on a new piece of provincial government business as  an account coordinator. Stephanie comes to MP with a health care communications background having completed an internship at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland as well as working for SickKids as a Communications Specialist.
