Alison has been with Media Profile for more than 35 years and takes a very hands-on approach to her role of President. David understands the importance of a strong narrative, clear messages and compelling delivery.
David draws on his natural storytelling abilities to help clients weave their messages together in a powerful way. His approach is informed by his prior work as a newspaper reporter and political aide at Queen’s Park. After 25 years at Media Profile, he’s more than just a storyteller: he’s a trusted and respected advisor to his clients. David has media-trained CEOs, senior government officials, leaders of movements, and high-profile aspiring politicians. You can often catch his commentary as a regular guest on The John Oakley Show on AM640.
David is the senior liaison with our finance department and our accounting firm. He reviews bi-monthly account payable statements, reviews monthly financial statements and and continuously monitors the billing tracker. With John and Alison, he has signing authority for contracts and other formal documents. He also reviews and approves all contracts, NDAs and LOAs, seeking legal advice as needed. David works with John and Scott to structure how we bill for our technology services. David also oversees our IT consultant and technology purchases like laptops, Cloud Servers, firewalls, etc.

For nearly 25 years, her fearlessly honest approach to communications has made Adrienne a trusted advisor to some of Media Profile’s longest-term corporate and consumer clients. Each one appreciates her uncanny ability to step into their shoes and masterfully march them to success.
Adrienne is a committed mentor and the leader of our consumer practice at Media Profile. She is involved in most new business proposals and pitches on the consumer PR side. Adrienne leads our media relations practice and the training around that discipline. Adrienne works with Alison, John and David to set the direction of the company and manage major decisions.
John has a unique ability to cut through noise to deliver level-headed strategic counsel.
As his clients will tell you, John’s thoughtful, analytical approach and ability to see both the big picture and the small details make him an integral member of their communications teams. John specializes in developing full-scale brand and corporate communications programs and has worked with some of Canada’s (and the world’s) largest brands. John has led Media Profile’s global technology clients for nearly two decades, including: Microsoft, Amazon Web Services and Google. John also draws upon
his past experience in the not-for-profit sector and environmental sectors to help Media Profile clients build award-winning ESG, community and DE&I programs.
John’s level-headed counsel is also valued within the management group where he is involved in key decisions affecting the firm. In addition, he is responsible for the modernization of the tools we use at Media Profile. In the past two years John has led the onboarding of new accounting and time management software. He has also assisted with the adoption of new tools for influencer management and media and social media monitoring. John is also deeply involved in training senior staff on the finer points of account leadership, client relations, team management and staff mentorship.
Stephanie leads our Indigenous practice and manages our HR function.
Stephanie oversees performance management, benefits and MP perqs. She also participates in all staffing decisions around hiring/terminating, deployment of resources on accounts and staffing RFPs. She is responsible for the ongoing management of issues related to staff performance improvement plans and professional development. Stephanie works with Alison to determine salary levels, raises, bonuses and benefits.
With Alison she works to ensure that Media Profile is at the forefront of best practices around HR and ensures our culture is strong and distinct from other agencies.
Christopher is a critical thinker whose advice is always built on a multifaceted understanding of the challenge at hand.
Backed by 16 years of agency experience, Chris has worked with a diverse range of start-up and well-known companies across consumer, technology and B2B spaces. Chris is passionate about learning new skills, and when he’s not drafting a speech or strategic plan, he’s working with colleagues to grow their knowledge base.
Chris is committed to Media Profile’s ESG/CSR initiatives and manages our philanthropic endeavors including the time we give to staff for volunteering. He recently led our work around new Canadian legislation about the Right to Disconnect outside of business hours. Chris manages some of our largest corporate clients and is a mentor to junior staff.

A background in science makes Asheleigh a unique hybrid in the world of PR – a creative mind with a keen understanding of and appreciation for data, analytics and measurement. While Ashleigh’s specialties lie in influencer and content marketing, social media, and SEO/SEM, it’s her thoughtful and dedicated approach that makes her so invaluable to clients and colleagues.
Ashleigh leads the strategic direction and deployment of resources for the digital team. She consults with existing Media Profile clients and leads new business efforts.
